Terms of Use
By downloading or using the apps you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in addition to them.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the apps on Apple devices you own or control, for your own learning. You may not copy, modify, redistribute or reverse-engineer the apps or their content.
Content
The songs in Nota are public-domain works in our own arrangements. The arrangements, lessons, recordings, artwork and software are our intellectual property or used under license.
Nota Premium
Parts of the catalogue and the lesson course are available with Nota Premium, offered as:
- Monthly and Yearly auto-renewable subscriptions. The yearly plan may include a free trial; you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown in the app until cancelled.
- Lifetime, a one-time purchase that unlocks Premium in the app it was bought in, on all devices using the same Apple account.
Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Prices may differ by country and may change; changes apply to later renewals and are announced by Apple in advance. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules. Premium bought in Nota Piano does not unlock Nota Guitar and vice versa.
No warranty
The apps are provided "as is". Note detection depends on your instrument, room and device and may be inaccurate. Nota is a learning aid and does not replace a teacher. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the apps.
Changes
We may update the apps and these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. Material changes will be announced on this page.
